Use these rhythms to help prepare students for the rhythm portion of the MP exam. Each student is asked to clap and count out loud using the metronome. The metronome will be set about 72 bpm. Pre-MP Rhythms These Music Progressions rhythms have been updated as of July 2007 and reflect the most recent changes in the MP curriculum. Of course, there is no way that all time signatures and rhythms possibilities can be tested in one page (especially in the later levels).
